(haipo) – The Central Bureau of Statistics published the 2025 summary of real estate transactions, and the data indicate different trends between the new apartment market and the second-hand market in the Haifa area. While the sale of new apartments in the city recorded a sharp decline, the second-hand apartment market remained relatively active and even showed an increase compared to 2023.
30.9% decrease in new apartment sales in Haifa
According to the report, in 2025, 3,730 new apartments were sold in Haifa, a significant decrease of 30.9% compared to 2024, but still an increase of 21.8% compared to 2023.
The decline in Haifa is in line with the national trend, which saw an overall 25.5% decline in new apartment sales. However, Haifa continues to be among the leading cities in the number of new apartments sold, ranking seventh in the country.

Second-hand market: Slight decrease compared to 2024, but increase compared to 2023
In 2025, 9,520 second-hand apartments were sold in Haifa, a decrease of 7.3% compared to 2024, but an increase of 15.5% compared to 2023.
Haifa ranks second in the country in the number of second-hand apartments sold, after Jerusalem, and continues to be a central hub for real estate transactions in the veteran market.

Haifa is also among the leading cities in the inventory of new apartments for sale
At the end of December 2025, the number of new apartments remaining for sale in Haifa was 2,530 apartments, a figure that places the city in eighth place among the largest cities in Israel.
This high supply may indicate a slowdown in demand for new apartments in the city, or a high construction rate that does not match the sales rate.

Regional view: The entire Haifa district shows similar trends
In the entire Haifa district, the following were sold in 2025:
- 3,730 new apartments – a decrease of 30.9% compared to 2024
- 9,520 second-hand apartments – a decrease of 7.3% compared to 2024
The data indicates that the entire district is affected by a slowdown in the new housing market, alongside relative stability in the second-hand market.
A year of volatility in the real estate market
2025 was a year of volatility in the real estate market in Haifa: a sharp decline in new apartment sales alongside lively activity in the second-hand market. The high inventory of new apartments remaining for sale may affect market prices in the coming years, while demand for second-hand apartments continues to remain stable.

At this time, the "Experts" program ended on "Radio Haifa"... on the subject: "Objections to construction" and/or the whole gloom actually about "evacuating-building" skyscrapers in the sky...; "The main idea" - the possibility of asking the experts on the above topics "questions", but the names were not highlighted enough during the program, nor were they answered by phone on 107.5fm; 😘Therefore, I did not hear specific questions, nor was I and my peers given the opportunity... and "The Peak of Records" - a representative who works with the "municipality"... So?????
The question is: What is the true purpose of the program: "Friday Morning Entertainment???? So, put on Love Music…💔
