Enforcement operation against life-threatening improved power tools ◄ Watch
The operation, which was conducted as part of the Israel Police's fight against road accidents and for the safety and security of road users, focused on bicycles and electric scooters that had undergone illegal improvements and technical changes, which increase their speed and harm safety. In addition, the forces also dealt with wild riding offenses and hooliganism on roads and sidewalks. During the operation, 45 traffic and enforcement reports were recorded for life-threatening offenses, and 52 illegal vehicles were confiscated: 39 improved electric scooters, 12 improved electric bicycles and a "Soron" type vehicle.
Delays in investigation and tools to be transferred for destruction
During the operation, several riders were detained for questioning, including a rider who was caught driving while knowingly disqualified by a court, a Soron rider who was driving recklessly, and a minor who tried to escape from the forces while hiding the license plates. All of the seized vehicles will be transferred to traffic inspectors for further procedures and destruction.
The Israel Police stated that "the Israel Police will continue to exercise a tough hand and uncompromising enforcement against enhanced devices and reckless driving, in order to maintain public order and protect the lives of residents."

You write: "All seized tools will be transferred to traffic inspectors for further procedures and destruction."
Wouldn't it be simpler to sell the tools and consider destroying the riders?
interesting…..
Highway 75 is a racetrack for super-modified motorcycles every night. The noise is unbearable, and no police are on the road to try to deal with it.
They're probably waiting until one of the bikers loses control while going wild and causes a disaster.
It's been like this for the last few years.
During alarm periods, they emerge specifically to simulate an alarm sound and cause alarm.
One spiked checkpoint at the Yagur interchange and you seize 8 motorcycles for destruction and solve the suffering of residents of Yagur and Bensher for years.
But who cares?
