(haipo) The Central Unit of the Coastal District has uncovered criminal activity by suspects belonging to criminal organizations, following a complex undercover investigation that lasted several weeks. As part of the transition to the open phase of the investigation, three suspects were arrested, and in a hidden apartment that was located, guns, ammunition, drugs and counterfeit money were seized. Today (Wednesday, 10/21/26), a prosecutor's statement is expected to be filed against them.

As part of the Israel Police's fight against organized crime and serious crime, the Central Unit (YAMR) of the Coastal District conducted a complex and covert investigation against a number of suspects suspected of belonging to criminal organizations operating in the district. During the investigation, which lasted several weeks, YAMR investigators used advanced technological means and carried out complex interrogation exercises, with the aim of establishing the evidentiary infrastructure against the suspects and exposing their full criminal activity.
Raid on several targets: Guns, ammunition, drugs and counterfeit money seized
Upon transitioning to the open phase of the investigation, Coast Guard detectives raided several targets and arrested three suspects. During the operation, the detectives located a hideout apartment that the suspects were suspected of using for their criminal activity. A search of the apartment yielded two guns, three silencers, ammunition, stolen license plates, substances suspected of being drugs, and counterfeit money. At the same time, during the arrest of one of the suspects, the police located two machines in the yard of his house that were suspected of being used to counterfeit money.

The three suspects were arrested and transferred for questioning at the central unit of the Coastal District. Today, upon completion of the investigation and the formation of the evidentiary infrastructure, a prosecutor's statement is expected to be submitted against the three suspects, and an indictment is expected to be filed against them in the coming days.
