Air Haifa began operating two new flight routes today (Sunday, October 25, 2026) with the entry into force of the winter flight schedule: from Haifa to Thessaloniki in Greece and from Ben Gurion Airport to Ramon Airport. At the same time, the company is launching a campaign in which its customer community will choose the discount that will be offered in the FLYDAY campaign on Election Day, which will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
From Haifa to Thessaloniki twice a week
The new route from Haifa Airport to Thessaloniki will operate twice a week, on Sundays and Thursdays. The launch of the route expands direct flight options from Haifa and adds a destination in Greece to the company's flight map.
At the same time, Air Haifa began operating flights from Ben Gurion Airport to Ramon Airport, near Eilat. In the first phase, the line will operate with two daily flights, and during November the company is expected to increase the frequency to three flights a day. The flights will depart from Terminal 1 at Ben Gurion Airport, and as part of the launch, tickets will be offered at an introductory price of 79 shekels one way.
Customers will choose the amount of the discount for Election Day
Alongside the launch of the routes, Air Haifa is allowing its customers to choose the promotion that will be offered as part of the weekly FLYDAY, which will take place on Election Day. The three options are:
30% off flights in November
25% off flights in December
20% discount on flights from January to March 2027.
Voting will take place in the Facebook group "Air Haifa - The Community", by responding to a dedicated post with the emoji representing the preferred offer. Each participant will be able to vote once. Voting will close on Monday, October 26, at 18:00 PM, and the results will be published at 19:00 PM.
The offer with the highest number of votes will be selected, and the discount will be given on orders placed using the coupon by Tuesday, October 27, at midnight.
What does the discount include and what is important to know?
The discount you choose will apply to international flights only and to the flight price, and does not include airport taxes, trolleys, suitcases or seat changes. Changes cannot be made to reservations made using the coupon.
The basic ticket price includes a personal handbag or backpack. You can add a trolley starting at 49 shekels and a suitcase starting at 77 shekels.
The company's flexible cancellation policy will also apply to the new routes, allowing you to cancel a flight up to 24 hours before departure and receive credit to use on future flights. The credit will be valid for two years.
