Tomorrow, Election Day (27.10.26) becomes an opportunity to take care of your health: Clalit will operate vaccination mobiles across the country alongside dozens of vaccination centers in clinics and shopping malls, where visitors will be able to get vaccinated against the flu without an appointment in advance and at no cost. In the Haifa and Western Galilee districts, selected vaccination complexes will operate, allowing residents to take advantage of the Sabbath day and get vaccinated for the winter.

Vaccination complexes in regional distribution

During Election Day, vaccination centers will operate at clinics in the Haifa, Krayot, and Western Galilee areas, as part of a general effort to make vaccinations accessible to the general public. The centers will offer flu vaccinations to all ages, without the need for an appointment, with the aim of encouraging widespread vaccination and reducing the risk of illness in the coming winter months.

"This is exactly what community medicine means"

Ronen Nudelman, VP and Head of the Community Division at Clalit, explains: "We are preparing for a broad response with teams and vaccine stocks all over the country. This is exactly what community medicine means, reaching people at a place and time that is convenient for them."

Rinat Buchanik, Director of Nursing at Klalit Haifa and Western Galilee District, adds: "Election Day is an excellent opportunity to take care of our own health and that of our family members. We are making the vaccines accessible and allowing walk-ins. It is important to remember that the flu is not just a mild winter illness, it can cause significant complications, and vaccination is the most effective way to reduce the risk."

Vaccination for the winter – public and health importance

Flu vaccination is considered one of the key measures to reduce morbidity and complications, especially among at-risk populations. Early vaccination allows the body to develop protection in preparation for the winter and helps maintain the continuity of the healthcare system.

Details about the vaccination complexes and their operating hours can be found on Clalit's information channels.
