A nationwide outage prevents calls to the council's hotline.
The Service and Security Center of the Hof Carmel Regional Council has issued an update to residents regarding a nationwide outage that has affected the switchboard system. As a result of the outage, it is not possible to contact the council's call center in the usual way. This is a non-local, national outage, and is affecting residents' ability to contact the call center, which is normally open around the clock, seven days a week.
Contact via WhatsApp in urgent cases
The hotline has instructed residents of the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council that in urgent cases, they can contact the hotline via WhatsApp at 052-420-0411. This alternative communication channel is intended to allow residents to report emergencies and receive a response from the hotline as long as the fault in the switchboard system has not been fixed. The council is making efforts to maintain continuity of service to residents even during the fault, and asks residents to stay updated through official channels.
