(Haipo) – A 40-year-old electric bicycle rider was seriously injured while riding on Ha'atzmaut Street in Kiryat Ata. MDA teams arrived at the scene, provided him with medical treatment, and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital in serious condition with head and facial injuries.
Electric bicycle rider found unconscious with serious injuries
At 17:21 PM, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about an electric bicycle rider who was injured while riding on Ha'atzmaut Street in Kiryat Ata. MDA medics and paramedics were called to the scene and provided medical treatment to a 40-year-old man who was found suffering from severe head and facial injuries. The injured man was taken to Rambam Hospital, where his condition is described as serious.
MDA teams provided life-saving treatment at the scene.
MDA emergency medical technician Avi Feibelson and paramedic from the MDA motorcycle unit, Nathan Shahar, spoke about the incident: "When we arrived at the scene, we noticed the cyclist was unconscious and suffering from severe head and facial injuries. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment, which included bandaging and immobilization, and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital in serious and stable condition."
