At 23:00 PM, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about two injured people in a violent incident on Herzl Street in Haifa. MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and provided initial medical treatment to a 35-year-old man who was seriously injured and a 34-year-old woman who was moderately injured, both suffering from penetrating injuries. The two were evacuated by ambulance and MDA intensive care unit to Rambam Hospital. United Hatzalah medical teams also arrived at the scene and provided initial medical aid to the injured.

MDA paramedic Anas Abu al-Hija and MDA emergency medical technician Avraham Boyar said: "When we arrived at the scene, we noticed a man and a woman who had been injured in a violent incident. We provided them with initial medical treatment on the scene and evacuated them in an ambulance and an MDA intensive care vehicle to the hospital. The man's condition is serious and stable, and the woman's condition is moderate, and they are fully conscious."
United Hatzalah paramedics Yishai Shahar and Aharon Horwitz also said that according to bystanders, this was a violent incident, and noted that they provided medical assistance at the scene to a man in serious condition and a woman, after which both were evacuated to Rambam Hospital.
