(Haipo) – The Israeli Youth Surfing Championship competition in the U12 and U14 categories, as part of Round 26 of the Pro Grom Tour Nirvana, takes place this morning (Wednesday, September 30, 2026) at Dado Beach in Haifa. The competition, which was postponed due to sea conditions, got underway at the Surf Club next to the Nirvana restaurant, with excellent surfing conditions.
Excellent surfing conditions at Dado Beach
The competition was supposed to take place earlier, but was postponed due to sea conditions that made it impossible to hold. This morning, after the postponement, the championship got underway at Dado Beach in Haifa, at the Surf Club, next to the Nirvana restaurant. This is the 26th round of the Pro Grom Tour Nirvana competition circuit, which includes the U12 and U14 age categories, in which young and experienced surfers from across the country compete.
The public is invited to come and watch the young surfers.
Saar Ben Simhon, director of the surfing club, invites the general public to come to Dado Beach and watch the competition. Ben Simhon noted that the surfing conditions this morning are excellent, with closed waves over a meter high and a southerly wind – conditions that allow the young surfers to showcase their skills at a high level. This is a significant sporting event for the young surfing community in Israel, taking place on one of Haifa’s well-known surfing beaches.
