(Haipo) – A huge success for Haifa's first surfing festival, which was held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Bat Galim - Allenby Marine Center, produced by Arnon Dagan, Uri Dagan, Moran Tapiro, Ran (Zazik) Gaash, the surfing community and in cooperation with the municipal sports department and the surfing club. Thousands of spectators and hundreds of surfers came to the complex where competitions were held and alongside food stands and surfing equipment from the best importers. A happy atmosphere of fun, popular sports and the sea.

The races took place near the beach and the public watched the competition from the second floor of the complex, where the cafe is also located, as well as from the beach itself. The first jump took place around 11:00, followed by wave performances and other jumps. Around 15:00, the winners were awarded prizes.

Competitive classes in a variety of surfing disciplines
The festival will include competitive divisions in several surfing disciplines: windsurfing, foil windsurfing, wing foil and SUP Race. Alongside the competitions, stands from surfing importers will be set up on the beach, and demonstrations will be held in the water and on the beach.
Producers Arnon and Uri Dagan, Moran Tapiro and Ran Zzik invite everyone to come and watch the spectacular scenes that will take place on the beach. Amazing surfing conditions are expected, and the recommended arrival times are between 11:00 and 16:00.
A community event that brings the world of surfing to Haifa Beach
This is the first event of its kind in Haifa, which aims to bring the energy and community of the surfing world to the beach. The festival is intended for surfers and the general public alike, and invites all residents of Haifa and the surrounding area to enjoy a day of sporting activity and a unique beach atmosphere. The event is held in collaboration with the Haifa Municipality, the Education, Culture and Sports Administration, and the local surfing club, and is supported by elements of the surfing industry in Israel.
