(haipo) – In the midst of the “Roar of the Harrier” war, the cadets of the “Ach.t Mislenu” preparatory school continue to work for Israeli society and volunteer in communities across the country. While thousands of cadets from pre-military preparatory schools are joining the national effort, the activity of the preparatory school cadets stands out, having enlisted to cook hot meals for fighters in Lebanon, prepare tefillin kits, and rebuild shelters on the home front.
Hot meals for soldiers in Lebanon and tefillin kits for fighters
The trainees of the girls' branch of the preparatory school, together with the branch staff, were able to raise donations to purchase food products, from which they cooked hot meals for IDF soldiers serving in Lebanon. The delivery of the meals was made possible thanks to an instructor at the preparatory school serving in the reserves in Lebanon, who connected his company with the trainees.
In addition, female students from the preparatory school in Netanya volunteered to pack thousands of tefillin kits for soldiers, which will be delivered to fighters in the field by the Military Rabbinate.

Rehabilitation of shelters in Tirat Carmel: The Boys' Branch is mobilizing for the home front
In the boys' branch of the preparatory school, the boys volunteered to clean, whitewash, and rehabilitate 40 neglected shelters in Tirat Carmel, in cooperation with the municipality. Local authority employees and residents welcomed the campers warmly and expressed great appreciation for their contribution to improving home front preparedness.

"A sense of responsibility and desire to be part of the national effort"
The CEO of "Ahad.T Mislenu", Moran Segev, praised the activities of the trainees: "In these complex days, the male and female trainees of the preparatory school chose to enlist in national missions and volunteer in various communities across the country, out of a sense of responsibility and a desire to be part of the national effort. I am proud of our young people who choose to stand up, take responsibility and act for others."
