(haipo) – Following a series of serious incidents of verbal violence by students and parents towards teaching staff, the Teachers' Union announced that classes at the school will be suspended. "Jerusalem" in Kiryat Ata They will begin tomorrow (Thursday, February 12, 2026) at 10:00 a.m. Before the start of classes, an information meeting will be held for the educational staff, led by the chairwoman of the Haifa branch of the Teachers' Union, Edna David.
The teachers' union informed Lahi Pa:
An unusual decision following ongoing violence. The Teachers' Union explains that the decision was made after another case of a severe verbal outburst by a student towards a teaching staff member, including the use of harsh and unacceptable expressions.
According to the organization, this is an ongoing series of events, in which the educational staff also suffers from threats and verbal violence from a number of parents.
The Histadrut demands that the student be transferred to an educational institution that is appropriate for his personal needs.
"We will not allow violence to be normalized in the education system"
Chairman of the Teachers' Union, Michael Pinto, strongly condemned the events: "We are witnessing a worrying phenomenon of ongoing attacks on teaching staff. We will not accept this and will not allow it to be normalized. The Teachers' Union will stand resolutely alongside every teaching staff member and will act by all means to ensure their safety and dignity."
Pinto emphasized that any threat or intimidation towards educators constitutes a harm to the entire system.
"Harm to educators is a blow to the entire system"
Chairwoman of the Teachers' Union in the Haifa branch, Edna David, who will arrive at the school tomorrow, added: "I strongly condemn the series of serious events. Violence and threats against teaching staff are a clear red line. Harming educators is not an isolated incident, it undermines the ability to maintain a normal and stable educational framework."
She said that if the violence is not stopped now, the education system could deteriorate to a point where it will not be possible to ensure a safe learning environment.

And the violence continued on Sunday this week in Tirat Carmel at the Tirat Carmel Elementary School, and if that weren't enough, it continued today, August 20, when a student punched and kicked the teacher at lunchtime, and to cover up the shame (he's a student of one of the most important people in Tirat Carmel),
Take the attack is the best defense approach: accuse the instructor who stopped the violence of speaking badly of the student.
Who lied?? A teacher who intervened??
Staff members who fear for their position??
The school principal???
interesting
Currently, to the best of my knowledge, the instructor who stopped the violence against a colleague decided to leave her job because there are those who are making a fortune off of her in order to preserve interests that do not solve the problem of violence and are even sweeping it under the rug.
Is it okay for a guide to leave with blue marks on her body???
Is it okay to consider solutions for both the team and the child?
The beaten instructor will be fine, and the instructor whose name is crazy will also be fine.
And yet the failed treatment perpetuates the violence and does not solve the problem at its root, as should be done in the area of education and in general.
I wrote a book "Alexho"
Derived from
Alka Shoa
Shows what is happening today in a school in the Holy Land
Afula, Nof HaGalil, Migdal HaEmek.... Horrible curses, spitting in the faces of teachers, obscene gestures, explicit threats: I will murder you, you "##ta" and the Northern District calls for inclusion and acceptance.
No lemonade day stop…
The student at the center… and inclusion is the opposite of boundaries
"I bothered to "reply" and not "publish"... = Strange!!! Who else is on my "computer"? = A Y W M =
To death...!!!@@@😭
😭Threatening "violence" of any kind, demonstrated towards "educators", sabotages "educational work"…@
To the same "extent" "students" of all ages & their parents are entitled to "respectful treatment"... after all, the ultimate goal of "education of Israeli children" = education in 🙏"values": spoken/written language, behavior in society, love of the country, helping others, etc.😍
