(Hai Pe) - Another incident of pigs attacking a resident of the city and destroying all their contents happened last night (Wednesday 29/5/24) in the Almogi neighborhood in Haifa.

Sapir Yahav, a resident of the Ramat Almogi neighborhood in Haifa, returned to her home yesterday evening (Wednesday 29/5/24) after shopping at the supermarket. She parked the car in the parking lot of the building, took the bags and started walking from the car towards the entrance of the building. But in front of her, a huge pig surprised her.
In order not to startle the pig and fearing that the situation would be interpreted differently and Yahav would attack her, she began to go back slowly. Suddenly she saw that another huge pig with five other pigs was advancing in her direction from the side. Yahav, turned around behind the vehicle and started walking towards home while trying to ignore the pigs. But the whole group started running after her, which startled her a lot. Then she remembered that she had bags of food in her hands, she threw them away and continued. And the pigs pounced on the contents of the bags and destroyed it.
In a face-to-face conversation, Yahav says: "It was a shocking and scary incident. I'm from Haifa and relatively used to seeing and meeting pigs. But they got smart and started ambushing us. It's already happened with several neighbors. Luckily I was alone and not with my 4-year-old son who is afraid of pigs so he would have experienced trauma.
Today I am thinking about how I return and bring the child back safely from kindergarten. I called the municipal hotline but there was no answer even though it says that hotline 106 provides an answer to the pig problem 24/7. The pigs eliminated everything that was in the bags and then left. It's scary that the pigs are no longer shy or afraid of humans. The neighbor came out and tried to scare them, but it didn't help. They didn't leave until they finished what was in the bags."
As I remember last week, Hai Pa published about two more incidents in Ramat Almogi in which the pigs ambushed, attacked, kidnapped and destroyed the shopping bags.

The pigs are simply desperate, because they have nowhere to live, no water and no food, especially in the summer.
