From now on they said: "Life together"
Every Monday of each week these clubs meet, each in their own space. But last night, Monday 13/6/22, a dream came true illustrating the concept of "coexistence" through brotherhood and peace, a concept that was replaced by a more accurate expression: "shared life".

During the last two years, the Nesher Rotary Club, led by its president, Dr. Hezi Shotland (a urologist by profession), took on the "Community Channel" to support the AHA Haifa Deaf Club in Beit Borla in the city.

The proof is possible
A wonderful collaboration with the Dalit El Carmel Rotary Club headed by Dr. Adv. Amal Kamal, gave birth to a royal Druze tour day, in fellowship with the people of the world of silence, AHA Haifa.
Rotary Israel is part of an international organization that is defined as "a non-political organization of businessmen and people of various professions, activists and social entrepreneurs, working in the community".
The global organization was founded in the USA in 1905 and today has approximately 1,200,000 club members known as "Rotarians" from among 32,000 clubs in approximately 200 countries around the world.

A shared life that connects diverse and different populations is a very complex goal, and here, on 13/6/22, proof was given that this is possible and even extremely enjoyable and exciting. It was a day when the air was filled with knowing the other, cooperation, bringing hearts together and mutual acceptance.

supremely and supremely
After two postponed dates (one because the "Carmel" storm took place on the scheduled tour date and the other due to the temporary closure of 'Beit Borla' due to the large number of corona cases), thanks to impressive tenacity and adherence to the goal, under the direction of Dr. Amel Kamal from Rotar Dalit Al Carmel And with the help of his wonderful (and beautiful!) wife, attorney Sausan Kamal, the dream of the tour came true, which was truly a royal tour and fine Druze hospitality, made for the best.

All participants
With the special help of the sign language interpreter, Etty Schwartzberg, who is also the chairman of AHA Israel, a conversation took place, while all the participants studied and listened.

70 man and woman
At the beginning of this great day, all three groups, about 70 men and women, were hosted at the "Taboun Al Zaman" restaurant in Usafia. Then an interesting walking tour began in the center of the ancient village of Badalit El Carmel, which led to a visit of learning and explanations about medicinal plants in the "Yasmin" center.

Later on, the road led to "Beit Oliphant", next to which is the Beit Yad Labanim, in memory of the Druze martyrs who fell in their military service in the IDF.

The Druze in Israel
From there, the group continued to the spacious auditorium on the premises, where the president of the Dalit El Carmel Club gave a lecture on "The Druze in Israel." On the part of the deaf clubs, the founder and chairman of the Holon Deaf Club, Menachem Auerbach, was honored with his presence and even participated in the tour.

magical atmosphere
During the entire visit, a special and magical atmosphere of bringing hearts together, understanding and inclusion prevailed, an atmosphere in which the term "shared life" can be applied, which received a fresh breath of love and warmth, despite, and perhaps also due to, the difficulties and the great differences between the participants.
