(haipo) – Today (Wednesday, March 4, 2026), starting at 3:00 PM, extensive emergency drills will be held in Kiryat Yam and Kiryat Ata, as part of the authorities' preparations to improve urban preparedness in emergency situations. The drills will be conducted in cooperation with the Home Front Command, the Israel Police, MDA and the fire department, and are expected to include active movement of security, military and rescue vehicles throughout the cities.
Exercise in Kiryat Yam
Today (Wednesday, March 4, 2026), starting at 3:00 PM, a Home Front Command exercise will be held throughout the city, with the participation of police, fire, and MDA forces.
A lively movement of forces may be felt.
In the event of a true event, an update will be issued accordingly.
Exercise in Kiryat Ata
Today, Wednesday, March 4, 26, between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, a large-scale exercise will be held by the Kiryat Ata Municipality in cooperation with the Home Front Command and all security, emergency and rescue forces.
As part of the exercise, there will be heavy traffic of security, military and police vehicles throughout the city. The exercise was planned in advance as part of improving municipal preparedness, and there is no fear of a security incident.
Residents are asked to be vigilant and follow the instructions of security forces in the area if there are temporary blockages.
