Air Quality Index – 16/2/26 | 12:00

The Ministry of Environmental Protection informed Lahi Pa:
The high air pollution is associated with southeasterly winds that cause dust to be transported from the direction of Jordan to our areas. In these situations, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, in consultation with the Ministry of Health, recommends that sensitive populations, including heart patients, lung patients, the elderly, children and pregnant women, avoid strenuous physical activity outdoors. The general population is advised to reduce strenuous physical activity outdoors.
The poor air quality is expected to continue for most of tomorrow, Tuesday (2/17/26) and Wednesday (2/18/26). The ministry will continue to update the public as needed based on forecast data and data measured at monitoring stations across the country.
You can follow the monitoring stations on the website and in the "Air in the environment of the Ministry of Environmental Protection".
