As the Haifa light softens and the Templar stone wears warm gold, the German colony changes its face. Ben Gurion Street is no longer just a street, it becomes a stage. In the heart of the space rises an enormous fir tree, tall and full of presence, wrapped in thousands of lights and sparkling decorations. It is not just an ornament, it is an anchor. A point of attraction in front of which people stop, take pictures, and look up with quiet excitement. The light from it spills onto the face, onto the stone, onto the moment, filling the street with a sense of celebration that is hard to explain, only to feel.

At dusk

Colorful lights
Strings of colored lights stretch overhead like a new sky, red, green, and gold, leading the gaze forward, step by step. From every corner comes a different scent: warm cinnamon, spiced wine, a fresh pastry just out of the oven. The scents mingle with each other, creating a promise, not just of taste, but of experience.

Red Santa hats
The pedestrians flow down the street at a pleasant slow pace. Red Santa hats dangle on the heads of children and adults alike, adding a wink of mischief and joy. Strangers smile at each other for no particular reason, other than the fact that they are all in the same moment. Here, between stalls, time slows down. People stop, look, breathe.

It is permissible to believe in magic.
And among all the lights and sounds, you might notice him.
A white beard, a mischievous smile, a look that reminds us all of what a simple belief in joy looks like. Santa? Maybe.
But mostly a reminder that during the holiday season, in the German colony in Haifa, it is allowed for a moment to believe in magic.
The pictures are just beginning to tell the story.
To truly feel it… you have to be here.

The idea itself is blessed.
We were in the German colony, it was really disappointing.
Except for 3 stalls in the nursery area, there were no interesting stalls. With the exception of one, all the stalls were food.
All the restaurants were decorated in a charming and inviting way, with crazy and excessive prices inside.
From the illuminated tree to the Baha'i Gardens, everything was repeated.
We expected more
There is no celebration for Jews on Christian holidays.
WAW Beautiful pictures of ✨️"Beautiful Haifa" in the "multiplicity of existence" that contains the "metropolitan city" that is decorated more and more in the "holiday of holidays" of all religions & denominations that testify with proven evidence that "here" = "a great miracle exists/exists here"...!!!@@@🙏
