(Haipo) – A serious traffic accident occurred on Tovim Street in Haifa, near the Electric Company, involving two vehicles. Four people were injured in the accident, including a woman in serious condition who was evacuated to Rambam Hospital. Carmel Area traffic accident investigators have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, and Haifa police officers are at the scene.

The report of the accident was received by MDA's 101 hotline on Thursday, 15.19.26 at 22:22. According to MDA spokespeople, four people were injured in the accident: a 30-year-old woman in serious condition with multi-system injuries, a 27-year-old man in moderate condition with injuries to his limbs, and two additional injured people in minor condition. MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment to the injured. The injured were evacuated to Rambam Hospital in ambulances and MDA mobile intensive care units.
A difficult scene – rescue teams described the rescue and treatment efforts
MDA paramedic Muhammad Rimawi and senior MDA medic Uriel Levanon described the scene as difficult. According to them, when they arrived at the scene, they were led to one of the injured women who was lying on the road unconscious. The teams provided her with medical treatment, which included stopping the bleeding and administering medication, and evacuated her in an intensive care unit while she was sedated and on a ventilator and in serious condition. United Hatzalah teams also arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance. Deputy Head of the Carmel-Karyot Branch Haim Avni, Yehuda Kreuzer and Shlomo Tausky, United Hatzalah medics, said that they provided assistance to four injured people, including a 25-year-old woman in serious condition, a 30-year-old man in moderate condition, and two other injured people in light condition. One of the injured was taken to the hospital in a United Hatzalah ambulance. Traffic accident investigators and police officers from the Haifa station are at the scene and are working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
