An elderly man about 80 years old was bitten by a wild boar and is currently being treated at the Carmel Hospital in Haifa
On Sderot Moriah street in Haifa, corner of Zerubbabel, an 80-year-old man was bitten on the upper and lower limbs by a wild boar. The man was moderately wounded in the thigh. He suffers from deep muscle tears. Lahi Pe learned that the injured was treated according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health, in order to prevent infection with various diseases, including rabies.
A Rescue Union volunteer gave the injured man initial medical treatment and evacuated him to Carmel Hospital in Haifa.
The MDA told Hai Fe that the man was found lying on the floor, with visible signs of injury to his lower limbs. The victim told the medics that he was attacked by a wild boar that fled the scene.
The injured was taken to Carmel Hospital for further treatment.
Senior medic at the MDA Doron Baker who treated the victim from a number of wounds here tonight: The injured man was found lying on the floor with visible signs of injury on his lower limbs.
"The victim claimed that he was attacked by a wild boar that fled the scene. He was treated in the field and transferred to a hospital for further treatment."

The time has come to file damage claims against the Haifa municipality for not adequately and sufficiently handling the phenomenon of wild boars roaming freely. The more individual lawsuits are filed against the municipality and against the mayor personally (the chance of a personal lawsuit against the mayor or any other functionary in the municipality is zero) however, this is a known phenomenon and expected damage that has been going on for many months and the municipality's actions are only ostensibly strengthening the bins that the pigs will not be able to To turn them over is nonsense with tomato juice, it would be better to spread anesthetics around those bins, to increase the department of the city veterinarian to send to take the females and the female puppies and castrate them like stray cats are castrated and this will greatly reduce the spread of the phenomenon
There is no doubt that the victim is not your father. The comparison to dogs is pointless. By law, dogs do not roam freely in the streets but are required to be owned and leashed. You are endangering the public in a beautifying fashion. She will end when someone photogenic or rich gets hurt and sues the mayor for a policy that endangers the public.
There is no doubt that the pig is not your father, otherwise you might care if they kill him or other members of his species, I'm quite sure that the person is not that innocent even if he is an adult, and that is what caused the pig to hurt him
The pigs should be poisoned, they have become a dangerous hazard, there will be hundreds of dead pigs, so the authorities will have to act
Poisoning wildlife is a crime. In addition, a poisoned pig carcass will cause other animals to die and this can include rare animals in the wild along the entire food chain...and domestic animals as well.
What is meant by returning them to nature? If I want to take a leisurely walk in nature, what should I do to avoid meeting a pig?
It's time for someone to take care of the garbage cans, and the people who feed the wild pigs, who are a danger to the elderly, most of whom are disabled.
The Society for the Protection of Nature in Haifa delved into the topic of wild boars in the city:
Wild boars are naturally afraid of humans. Cases in which humans are injured are almost always when a wild boar gets into a closed corner and tries to escape, then it hits a person who is in its path. The fear of the pigs is understandable, but it should be remembered that many more people are injured by dogs, for example.
The reasons for pigs to enter the urban area must be reduced, by preserving the nature where the pigs live, preserving ecological transitions, and reducing food sources that attract the wild pigs into the city, such as open garbage cans.
And many more citizens are harmed by the politicians they elected.
The problem is that there is nothing to stop the wild boars' natural reproduction
