(Hai Fa – Haifa and the surrounding area news corporation) – The poem "Earthly" written by Haifa poet Marina Yamit Gauman, a multidisciplinary artist in Hebrew music and poetry.
Marina, who holds academic degrees in Hebrew literature, appears at artist gatherings in Haifa, singing and accompanying herself on the piano. Her songs are sometimes protest songs, works for which she wrote the lyrics and music. The highlight is her love for her Israeli homeland, which she emphasizes in her performances.
She recently performed at a gathering held at the Krieger Club in Haifa.
earthly – Poem by: Marina Yamit Gauman
My broken earth mourns its children.
The blood of its fallen rages from the earth.
Cursed be all her enemies.
The destroyers of the nation's peace!
The entire nation united under a flag
There is no wall and no justice!
The world is going crazy!
Jews continue to climb the Bargel
To a safe place
Pursued by fate!
There is no absolute justice.
They are humiliated, they are oppressed.
At the hands of the barking dogs of the UN
They are judged by the great sealers.
Sacrificed on the altar of the sleeping world!
Here, on a deserted surface, I have little words.
The strong people survive.
And also, they are treated and pushed.
Or from where will we be expelled?
Then what will be our place on earth?
Is there comfort to be found on the moon?
How long will this humiliation of the nations continue?
How long will we continue to suffer from ignorance and grief?
Our captives are being held captive by the Amalekites.
And our tears flow in the empty fields….
And I remember the words of my father:
"We have no other place"
Remember, this is my daughter!
For in every place we were rich.
"We have only been humiliated and killed by the hands of the Gentiles!"
