(Haipo) – On Tuesday morning, 5/19/26, a 30-year-old man was shot while sitting in his car on Almog Street in the Ramat Hanasi neighborhood in Haifa. The man was seriously injured and was evacuated by MDA teams to Rambam Hospital unconscious with penetrating injuries. The police have opened an investigation, and the background to the incident is apparently criminal.

At 06:33, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about a man who was injured on Almog Street in Haifa. MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene, provided the injured man with medical treatment and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital. The man is about 30 years old and is in serious condition, unconscious, with penetrating injuries to his body. Senior MDA medic, David Avichai Molcho, said that "the injured man was in his vehicle, unconscious, with severe penetrating injuries to his body. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment that included resuscitation and evacuated him to the hospital when his condition was unstable."
