The electrician in Kiryat Motzkin was saved after CPR.

(Haipo) – A 30-year-old worker was electrocuted while working at a commercial complex in Kiryat Motzkin. MDA teams that arrived at the scene performed advanced CPR, and after using a defibrillator, the worker's heart started beating again. He was taken to Rambam Hospital fully conscious.

Worker lost consciousness after being electrocuted at a job site

At 17:13 PM, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about a worker who was electrocuted while working in a commercial complex in Kiryat Motzkin. When MDA teams arrived at the scene, they found a 30-year-old man lying unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing. Immediately upon arrival, the teams began performing advanced CPR, which included heart massage, ventilations, administering medication and electric shocks using a defibrillator.

Successful CPR – the patient is discharged fully conscious.

MDA paramedic Alex Buchman and senior medic from the MDA motorcycle unit, Afik Tobias, said that after the advanced resuscitation efforts that continued at the scene, the man's heart started beating again. After his condition stabilized, the worker was evacuated in an MDA intensive care unit to Rambam Hospital while fully conscious. This is an unusual incident in which rescue teams were able to bring the worker back to life after a cardiac arrest caused by electrocution at the workplace.
