(Haipo) – This evening, Saturday, October 10, 2026, firefighters from the Kiryat station were dispatched after receiving a report of a fire on Highway 75, near the Yagur Interchange. Upon arrival at the scene, the crews identified three EME vehicles (engineering mechanical equipment) burning in the parking lot. No injuries or people trapped were reported in the incident, but the vehicles were severely damaged.

Firefighters from the Kiryat Station, which belongs to the Coastal District of the Israel Fire and Rescue Service, were dispatched this evening after receiving a report of a fire on Highway 75, in the area of the Yagur Interchange. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered that the fire had broken out in a parking lot for engineering machinery, with three vehicles found ablaze. The firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to the forest and open areas adjacent to the parking lot. The firefighting efforts were successful, and the crews were able to prevent the flames from spreading beyond the parking lot itself.
No injuries reported – fire investigator is investigating the circumstances of the incident
Despite the intensity of the fire, no injuries or people were reported trapped in the incident. However, the three firefighting vehicles that caught fire were severely damaged. After the firefighting operations were completed, a fire investigator from the Israel Fire and Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene, who began investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire. At this stage, it is not yet known what caused the fire in the vehicles, and the incident is under active investigation to determine the exact circumstances.
