(Haipo) – The year 2017 began with a flurry of activity in the delivery rooms at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. With the start of the Hebrew New Year, four newborns were born in just one hour, and their families received the greatest gift one could ask for on the eve of Rosh Hashanah.
Four consecutive births within one hour
The first birth of the new year at Rambam took place at 8:21 p.m. About twenty minutes later, the second birth occurred, and within another twenty minutes, two more newborns were born. Thus, in a period of only about an hour, four births were recorded in the hospital's delivery rooms, in an activity that was unusual in its scope for the start of 2017. The babies and their families opened the new year with a particularly joyful and exciting event.

Among the parents who were blessed with an expansion of their family in honor of the New Year were Maria Katzovsky (35) and Nimrod Meitav (35) from Atlit. The two welcomed a baby girl weighing 3.820 kg, who was born at 21:03 p.m. This was Maria's second birth, and she said that the birth was easy and quick. "This is the best gift we could have asked for," the new parents said, and wished all of Israel "may we live in peace and tranquility."
