The much-anticipated "Cultural Friday" event returned to Haifa and attracted a large crowd of senior citizens to the Rapaport Hall. The event, which was initiated by Milev and in collaboration with the Haifa Municipality, the Senior Citizens Division, and the Pensioners' Lobby, included three sessions that dealt with security, health, and a personal story that sparked a public outcry.

Three interviewees from diverse fields on stage
The event was hosted by journalist Moshe Nestelbaum, who hosted three interviewees from different fields. The first was Guy Chen, A former senior Shin Bet official and author of the book "Makhabbarat," who told the audience about his activities in the Shin Bet and what goes on behind the scenes in the fight against terror. Among other things, Chen spoke about recruiting agents, using sources, and secret operations to thwart terrorist acts. The second was Prof. Avinoam Shiran, Director of the Cardiology Department at Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, who spoke about ways to maintain a healthy heart and the importance of genetics in heart disease. The third was Attorney and retired judge Eti Karif, whose personal and professional story made headlines and took a place in the public debate, and spoke about the heavy personal price she paid following the affair.

Savyon introduced free services for senior citizens
Israel Savyon, Senior Citizens Portfolio Holder at the Haifa Municipality and Chairman of Milev, who initiated the renewal of the "Cultural Friday" events, welcomed the participants and thanked the audience for coming, Council member Pini Wegman, Ethos CEO Yigal Zeevi, and the Ethos team for the organization and production. During the event, Savyon mentioned the free services offered to senior citizens in Haifa, including the mobile repair service, which has already provided service to some fifteen hundred senior citizens who have enjoyed minor repairs to their homes for free. He also spoke about the "Shoshka" app, which is offered for free and is intended for dating and creating social connections, and noted that senior citizens from Haifa have already connected through it and created social and even romantic relationships.

Customer club and future plans
Savyon also mentioned the customer club for senior citizens, which is free to join. He said that within a year, about seven thousand members had joined the club and about 125 businesses provide benefits to its members. "We are all seniors and it is important to remind you of the free services you receive, and I urge you to share them with your friends and neighbors. We continue to work for you," Savyon told the audience.
At the end of the event, Savyon thanked Nestelbaum and the event's guests and said that he hopes to hold the "Cultural Friday" events once a month.
