(Hai Fa) – New construction in Haifa: The Zeevi Park project at 120 Yaffe Nof Street in Haifa reached a significant milestone with the launch of the first two buildings in the complex, out of four buildings planned for the project. Behind the promotion of the project is the partnership between Gad Zeevi and the Donitz-Elad construction group, which worked to promote it and complete the buildings. The launch event was produced by Avner Machtinger, the owner of the advertising agency, who works closely with the developers to advertise the project to the Haifa public. The event was attended by pianist Gil Shohat and opera singer Daniela Lugassi. Zeevi referred to the long journey the project has taken, its location in the center of the Carmel and the advantages the area offers to residents, along with the continued planning of the two additional buildings in the complex.
The partnership between Gad Zeevi and Donitz-Elad promoted the project
Zeevi Park is being promoted as part of a partnership between Gad Zeevi and the Donitz-Elad Construction Group, the project's initiators. The collaboration between the parties led the project through the promotion and construction stages to the completion of the first two buildings, which are already standing in the complex. As part of the project's promotion, excavation, site preparation and construction work were carried out, and today some of the residents have already begun moving into their apartments. The completion of the buildings marks a milestone in the project, which, according to Zeevi, he has been accompanying for nearly 40 years, and the developers are now preparing to continue developing the complex and erecting the two additional buildings planned for it.

Avner Machtinger produced the building launch event
The event to launch the buildings in Zeevi Park was produced by Avner Machtinger, the owner of the advertising agency, which accompanies the developers and works closely with them to advertise the project to the Haifa public. The event was part of the presentation of the project and the completed buildings to the public, after the construction work progressed and residents began moving into the apartments. As part of the joint work with the developers, Machtinger is advertising Zeevi Park and exposing it to the target audience in Haifa.
Gad Zeevi: "I have been accompanying the project for nearly 40 years"
Gad Zeevi addressed the long journey that Zeevi Park has taken at the event and said that he has been accompanying the project for nearly 40 years. In his remarks, he called on participants to consider the possibility of purchasing an apartment there and emphasized the prices and location of the complex. Zeevi presented the proximity to shops, services, and commercial centers in the center of the Carmel as one of the main advantages of living in the project. According to him, many services and shops are within walking distance of the buildings. Zeevi expressed satisfaction with the stage the project has reached after the long journey and wished success to whoever chooses to live there.

Two of the four buildings have already been completed.
Zeevi Park is planned to include four buildings, with the first two already completed and standing in the complex. According to the details provided at the event, the project includes apartments of various sizes, including three- and five-room apartments, and some of the residents have already begun to gradually move into their apartments. The completion of the two buildings is a significant step in the realization of the joint project of Gad Zeevi and the Donitz-Elad construction group. The location of the complex at 20 Yaffe Nof Street, in the Carmel Center area, was also at the center of Zeevi's remarks, who emphasized the proximity to the area's commercial and service centers.

Gil Shohat and Daniela Lugasi opened the launch event
The artistic part of the launch event was opened by pianist Gil Shohat and opera singer Daniela Logasi. As part of her performance, Logasi also performed a song in Moroccan. Zeevi referred to the two artists during his remarks and praised their abilities. Al Shohat said that he is able to perform works without needing notes, while Al Logasi noted that the participants had already seen and heard her abilities during the evening. Their performance took place as part of the launch event for the two buildings completed in Zeevi Park, which was produced by Avner Machtinger as part of the joint work with the project's developers.
Next step: two more buildings in Zeevi Park
After the completion of the first two buildings, the overall plan for Zeevi Park includes the construction of two additional buildings. The Donitz-Elad Construction Group told Hifa that the next phase has not yet begun and the contractor to carry out the work has not yet been selected. The timetables for the completion of the two additional buildings have also not yet been finally determined. The continuation of the project is expected to constitute the next phase in the partnership between Gad Zeevi and the Donitz-Elad Construction Group, after the first two buildings have already reached the launch stage.

A park? I think a park is a green space and development. From now on, it will be called Kishon Park - Kishon Towers
A classic PR article. It's enough to read most of the readers' comments to understand what Haifa residents really think about the project that Zeevi has been dreaming about for 40 years...and is it true? The number 40 has another meaning for Zeevi: he originally dreamed of building 40-story towers there. But excellent organization by the residents led to the adoption of a sane construction policy document in the Carmel Ridge that prevented him, and other tycoons with similar dreams, from building a series of additional real estate monsters in this area beyond the Panorama Towers, which even Mayor Gural, who approved them at the time, regretted in retrospect.
Good luck to all participants in leaving the complex in the morning. We'll see how it works out for them. In the meantime, all of the beautiful and unique Carmel has been destroyed for buildings that look like vulgar office towers.
A park of buildings.
Trees are less important.
Children are not important at all.
The main thing is to say I live in Ze'evi Towers.
ghetto.
What a country we have become, everyone who has 2 cents more than others builds towers named after them.
For a moment I was happy and excited because I thought it was really a park. Because Haifa lacks green spaces for residents, and then I saw that it was residential towers. Not an open space or a park. It would have been appropriate to put a picture of the beautiful building, Yaffe Nof 120, which was completely destroyed to fulfill Zeevi's dream.
There are no serious anchors in the center of Carmel. In order for the place to be a significant urban center, at least 2-3 more residential towers above large shopping malls are needed. Not only are there no supermarkets and large flagship stores - for example, there is not even an electrical goods store or a computer store in the center of Carmel - just for example. It is impossible to call it a significant urban center when it is very lacking in variety in commerce and certainly in leisure and entertainment, which have almost completely disappeared. The municipality's role is to encourage, through new construction initiatives, a large addition of commercial and entertainment space that will strengthen the center of Carmel. For example, in the Oranim complex, instead of the parking lot and the supermarket, a large multi-story mall, parking lot, and residential tower can be built. Such anchors will contribute to expanding the entertainment options and mixed-uses that will attract the public to the center of Carmel. Canceling the zoo and expanding the mother garden into a large urban park with playgrounds and playgrounds is also the order of the day.
Beauty is not important! The same ugliness is very popular in Jerusalem, literally twin cities…
It bothers me that an article like this doesn't mention the planners and project manager.
This is a project that brings to the center of the Carmel, to Yaffe Nof Street, which is already very crowded, and President Boulevard (Red Street, the peak of fatal traffic accidents in Haifa) another 800 cars!!! As soon as 2 more buildings are completed. 800!!!! More cars in the area. The place is already a traffic jam and two more have not yet been built. There is a disaster here of a municipality that is not ready to stop and understand that the Carmel neighborhoods are not built for the addition of thousands of apartments and vehicles.
The Carmel Center that Zeevi is talking about is also problematic. Shufersal is outdated and Carrefour City is both among the most expensive branches in the country because there are not enough supermarkets and competition in the area. The poor residents of the ridge have to go to Nesher or Matam to look for slightly cheaper food because the Haifa municipality no longer approves supermarkets in the ridge. The entire Carmel is aging and declining. There is no investment in cultural buildings. The Mena Katz Museum has been closed for years. The shell in Gan Ham is crumbling. The sidewalks around the Panorama Center are broken. Stone buildings with shops for rent are empty. Neglect in Gan Ham and the Louis Promenade are dark at night. The situation is not good.
Yael-You are so right. I agree with every word.
Avner Machtinger is larger than life. He ran a one-of-a-kind launch event under difficult conditions and brought together everyone from Haifa and the surrounding area to see how Yalan Nof 120 is becoming a beautiful residential center. Daniela Lugsi is at her best as always, accompanied by the artist Gil Shohat.
It was wonderful.
And what happened on the way to Lady Downs' beautiful home? And how will traffic flow on the streets for the four monsters? Alongside the paragon, there is a place for the press that at least asks
😍And… I just missed "Gil" & "Daniela" at the ✨️"Shochet" and "Lugsi" concert???
Why didn't you inform me in advance?
What a mispossession…
* "Beautiful view" = Beautiful, spectacular view in "Beautiful Haifa"!!!!!😂
The room structure is strange like a pillar in the bedroom and a tiny kitchen with a glass door that needs to be washed constantly.
Luckily we were already used to the towers so no one noticed that a few more were built.
Transportation disaster in the region
Has anyone thought about how and where all the vehicles will leave these buildings every morning? What kind of traffic jam is going to form on a narrow, one-way street with one lane? Taking property taxes is fine. What about providing services?
The house where Lady Downes lived was indeed demolished – with the approval of the Haifa Municipality – but decades ago. It actually stood on Givat Downes Street and is not at all connected to this project.
The Lady had more than one house, she lived in a beautiful place and in front of the house there is a monument to her nephew, the son of General Allenby.
A terrible and horrible monster, a huge and ugly wound in the landscape, simply a deep pit that was dug violently and with zero regard for the environment and the original historic Carmelite fabric, and they also destroyed a house where Lady Downs lived in the process, which could have been saved. Don't get too high on yourself.
Say hi to Sarit Golan.
And remember what happened to the city when she was the chairwoman of a local planning and building committee.
