A huge wild boar that fell into a pool of water in a private home of a disabled couple and was in distress, was rescued from the pool by Nature and Parks Authority inspectors and municipal workers who were rushed to the scene.
A report from an ecologist of the Carmel Ben Rosenberg area arrived this morning, Thursday 22/4/21, about a wild boar that fell into a pool in a private home. The Nature and Parks Authority ecologist was in a meeting with the Haifa municipality ecologist, both of them arrived at the scene.

This is a huge, heavy wild boar that was in the pool for a few hours until it arrived at the house. It was very difficult to rescue him without damaging him or being harmed by him in the rescue attempt. The people of the house reported that they saw the pig several times near their house. A wild boar of this size can react in an unpredictable way when under stress. We managed to make him a bouncer and rescue him from the pool.
