The body of a 55-year-old unmarried woman was found in her Haifa apartment days after her death.

(Haipo) – A 55-year-old woman was found lifeless in her apartment on Hehalutz Street in Haifa, several days after her death. The report was received at the ZAKA 1220 hotline at approximately 14:55 p.m. ZAKA Northern District volunteers were called to the scene and worked to preserve the dignity of the deceased and collect the remains for burial. This is the fifth case in recent years on the same street.

ZAKA volunteers worked at the scene to preserve the dignity of the deceased.

Israel Lazar, a volunteer with ZAKA in the Northern District, said that together with fellow ZAKA volunteers in the Northern District, he worked at the scene to collect the findings and preserve the dignity of the deceased. The volunteers arrived at the apartment on Hehalutz Street in Haifa after the report was received at the organization's call center, and treated the scene according to accepted procedures.

The fifth incident on the same street – a call to the public to be vigilant

Rabbi Anshel Friedman, commander of the Northern District of ZAKA, said that Hechalutz Street in Haifa is well known to the organization's volunteers. According to him, this is the fifth case in recent years in which ZAKA volunteers have been called to that street following a person who was found several days after his death. Rabbi Friedman emphasized that the high number of cases on that street illustrates the importance of being vigilant about the environment, especially when it comes to people who live alone. "We call on the public to take an interest in the well-being of their neighbors. One knock on the door can save a life," he said.

  2. The silent pandemic….Because of Benjamin Netanyahu, so does the Likud government! The allowance was once linked to the index, in 2003 Bibi abolished linking allowances to the index! Since then, few people have been giving up food, medicine, even water!
