The fifth incident on the same street – a call to the public to be vigilant
Rabbi Anshel Friedman, commander of the Northern District of ZAKA, said that Hechalutz Street in Haifa is well known to the organization's volunteers. According to him, this is the fifth case in recent years in which ZAKA volunteers have been called to that street following a person who was found several days after his death. Rabbi Friedman emphasized that the high number of cases on that street illustrates the importance of being vigilant about the environment, especially when it comes to people who live alone. "We call on the public to take an interest in the well-being of their neighbors. One knock on the door can save a life," he said.
