A short time ago, a report was received of an explosion being heard at the scene. Police and bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene and opened an investigation. No injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the report from the police spokeswoman, a short time ago a report was received of an explosion being heard on Herzliya Street in Haifa. Carmel Police and Coastal District bomb disposal squad officers arrived at the scene, collected evidence from the scene and opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident. It is suspected that a grenade was thrown at a residential building. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The police stated that the background to the incident is criminal, and the investigation is ongoing.
