I came to the museum,
I watched the memory,
How the Germans were expelled,
And how the Poles inherited.
How long will neighbor disputes last?
Will they ever be able to become friends?
The future will see this,
The hostility will probably continue.
And where are we Jews here?
We were taken by Reichsbahn train*
To the predestined fate,
A life of hunger, like that of a rat.
Let's hope it gets better,
After all, evil must end!
May peace prevail among the nations,
And humans will not feel threatened!
