The Ministry of Health warns: Do not consume "Alaska" brand mineral water

(Haipo) – The Ministry of Health has issued a warning to the public not to consume Alaska brand mineral water products, of all sizes and all expiration dates. According to the ministry, the products were illegally imported into Israel from the Palestinian Authority, without the required permits, and their manufacturing conditions and safety are unknown.

Products imported without supervision and approvals

During a routine inspection conducted by the Ministry of Health's food service inspectors in the Northern District, it was discovered that "Alaska" brand mineral water products were imported into Israel from the Palestinian Authority illegally and without the appropriate permits. The product is described as natural mineral water that has undergone reverse osmosis and ozonation treatment, produced by the Ein Asia Mineral Water Company. Due to the fact that the products were imported without a permit, their production conditions and safety are unknown to the Ministry of Health, and they are not under its supervision.
