(haipo) The community work space of the "Youth for Haifa" association, located at 4 Rabbi Ohana Street in the Talpiot Market in Haifa, has transformed from a space designed to serve the association's activities into a community work hub that attracts freelancers, entrepreneurs, students, new immigrants and business owners looking for a professional and pleasant work environment alongside a vibrant community.

From my idea for an association to a workspace open to everyone
When the association established the space, the original goal was simple: to create a place that would be used for team activities, meetings, lectures, and initiatives that the association leads in the city. However, over time, it became clear that the need for such a space went far beyond the association's own activities. Freelancers said they had difficulty concentrating on working from home, business owners were looking for a pleasant place for meetings, students wanted a quiet study environment, and new immigrants were looking not only for a place to work from, but also a place to meet people, make connections, and feel like they belonged. In light of the growing demand, the association decided to open its doors to everyone.

Professional infrastructure and a diverse community under one roof
Today, the space offers comfortable workstations, high-speed internet, a meeting room, a conference hall, a podcast studio, seating areas, coffee and tea, and also a protected internal space that allows you to continue working with peace of mind even during complex times. But according to regular users, the greatest advantage of the place is not the equipment but rather the people. Entrepreneurs, programmers, designers, marketers, freelancers, business owners, students and new immigrants work here side by side. Quite a few collaborations have started with a random conversation by the coffee machine, business meetings have turned into friendships, and ideas born in the hallway have developed into real ventures.

Extensive community activity even after working hours
Even when the computers are closed, the activity in the space does not stop. Throughout the week, lectures, workshops, networking meetings, language clubs, cultural events, professional meetings and community activities are held there, attracting hundreds of participants. For many of the users, the workday ends with an event, a lecture or a conversation with new people, so the space naturally becomes a place where both personal and professional connections are formed. People who come for the first time out of curiosity, just to try working for a day, soon become an integral part of the community, some come several times a week, some have made the space their permanent office, and there are those who testify that the place has changed the entire work experience for them.
