Neighborhood-loving residents living in Savyonei Carmel in Haifa have often complained about the lack of a sign on Oskar Schindler Street indicating the location of the neighborhood.
They asked the municipality to place a directional sign "for the benefit" of those who don't know the way, and indeed, that was the case recently: a bright green sign, with the name of the neighborhood in three languages, was placed at the corner of Schindler-Mendel Singer streets.

To her and a thorn in her
But the sign is placed a few meters from the intersection, at the end of the access lane to the neighborhood for those coming from Abba Khushi Road. A driver who needs directions notices the sign too late and is unable to merge into the left lane.
The "Hai Pe" organization suggested that the municipality remove the sign from its location and place it higher up the road, at the beginning of the left lane. This way, drivers can integrate into the lane heading toward Savyonei Carmel in advance.
The municipality's spokesperson department responded as follows:
"The issue will be examined in the field by the municipality's professional officials, and if necessary and in accordance with the conclusions of the examination, updating the location of the sign will be considered."

1 Are basketball players able to pass under the sign standing upright?
2 Can a wheelchair pass safely between the post and the road?
3. It looks like the sign will hit the floor on the next boat….
Let them start dealing with the noise that the residents of the neighborhood are exposed to!!! On Oskar Schindler, truck drivers honking shamelessly, upgraded motorcycles and even diesel vehicles that Yahav was so proud to ban from entering!!! They pay property taxes of Dania and zero service!!
There are worn-out traffic signs throughout the entire area of West Haifa. The markings on the roads are also worn-out. No stopping signs and stop signs on most streets are not found, especially in the K. Shprinzak neighborhoods.
Enough looking for all the nonsense, it's okay that it's called that, the main thing is that there's a sign pointing to the neighborhood.
And PS, you wrote in the description of the picture Savyoni Danya when Savyoni Carmel is listed in the picture…
In Kiryat Bialik, signs are being put up properly.
Come on!!
They don't know how to place a sign, but they are experts at raising property taxes.
The municipality can't even install a sign properly.
Are there any professionals in the municipality or security personnel?
Wow, a very important article!
Are the topics over?
Or are they sweeping under the rugs?
Rich people's troubles, they didn't know where I lived..
There's Waze and Google Maps, do yourself a favor!
Not really rich.
There is no doubt that things are happening in Haifa!
She wrote about a sign that was put up – hallucination. No wonder everyone is fleeing Haifa.
