Winter Acrobatics Championship: Nice achievements for Haifa flyers

At the end of the week (Friday, 1/23/2026), the Haifa Flyers Winter Championship was held, led and managed by the Gershgorn Foundation. Various associations from across the country took part in the championship. The championship was held in the Carmel Castle Hall.

The championship competitions included competitions at the league level, up to the high, international and adult levels. It should be noted that the gymnasts from the Haifa Flying Association won the championship in first place and demonstrated an amazing and perfect acrobatic celebration.

One of the talented gymnasts in the acrobatics discipline who won first place in the championship is Emily Schclair, 11 years old. She is a sixth grade student at the "Ramot" school in the French Carmel and at the end of the year she will transfer to the "Leo Beck" school in Haifa. Emily has been a gymnast for two years with the "Haifa Flyers" association.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that the "Haifa Flyers" managed by the Gershgorn Foundation is a sports association specializing in gymnastics and acrobatics and is one of the leaders today in the State of Israel and in general throughout the world, and it engraves on its banner the aspiration for excellence and professional progress while enjoying and accumulating experiences along the way. The association has been in existence for 25 years since its establishment, it has developed over the years and over the past 14 years has won the European and World Championships and various championships in Israel, year after year.

We would also like to add that "Haifa Flyers" is the only association in Haifa that competes in the various European and World Championships, and many of its athletes are also European and World Champions. We would also like to add that Keren Gershgorn, director of "Haifa Flyers", holds a BA in Physical Education from the Wingate Institute and a MA in Education and Psychology from the University of Haifa. Keren, who holds a certificate as an instructor in acrobatics and a certificate as a certified trainer in acrobatics from the Wingate Institute, is also an international judge in international acrobatics competitions, including European and World Championships.
