On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, a unique exhibition entitled "The Prophets' Tower" opened in the theater hall in Haifa. Haifa women see it differently.
The exhibition is the product of a course of 12 meetings of women from different communities using the Photo-Voice method and is the fruit of cooperation between the Haifa Municipality, Beit HaGefen, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
The exhibition aims to provide a platform for women residents of Haifa and provide them with a tool for self-expression, collective and social expression through photography, storytelling and personal documentation. The participants present intimate perspectives on their daily lives, their challenges and dreams, and the dialogue that takes place in a multicultural city like Haifa.

The images on display include personal portraits, city landscapes, street scenes, graffitied walls, family moments, and local street art. The collection creates a visual and emotional mosaic of Haifa, as women from the city’s various communities see it.
According to the organizers, the goal of the project is to allow women to tell the story of themselves and their environment, and to create a bridge and shared life between different communities in the city.

Lovely article
Thanks Aki, it's nice to meet real journalists these days.
Very interesting article! Definitely an event worthy of Haifa.
Also worthy of national press.
Who is selected for the course? Where was it announced regarding participation in it?
Thank you very much for the fascinating and moving article about an amazing and touching project. It is amazing to see how art, and in this case photography, can be used as such a powerful tool for connecting people. This project of Jewish and Arab women bridging through the art of photography is a ray of hope. The article wonderfully conveyed the power of dialogue and connection, for which you deserve all the respect, Mr. Aki.
