(haipo) A regular city council meeting will be held on Tuesday evening, 10/13/26, at the Haifa City Council. Among the proposals: establishing designated parking spaces for scooters, transferring budgets to purchase protective gear, and holding proactive conversations with longtime residents. The meeting will be broadcast live on Haifa at 17:00 PM.
About the order:
- Regulating scooter parking in residential neighborhoods in Haifa – a proposal by City Council member Kirill Kartnik.
- Regular reporting on the implementation of city council decisions – proposal by city council member Kirill Kartnik.
- Municipal emergency preparedness and budget diversion to protect Haifa residents – proposal by City Council member Kirill Kartnik.
- Periodic conversations for senior citizens in the municipal work plan – a proposal by Council member Zvika Barbi.

The municipality should encourage evacuation and construction projects and not stick sticks.
Regarding the broadcast on the subject of the municipal auditor's report regarding a conflict of interest at the Milev Association, the things written are inaccurate, the Division for the Advancement of Senior Citizens was imposed by coalition agreements on the corporation.
And the corporation's CEO had no opportunity to express the corporation's opposition to incorporating the division into Milev's organizational structure. The merger of the division is a story that has been going on for over a year. Despite attempts by the corporation to contact authorized entities to warn them that improper processes are being carried out without a permit, there has been no response from the municipality.
The city council is run undemocratically, with every point of order by an opposition member receiving an automatic, robotic vote by the entire coalition to remove it.
I suggest that Kirill contact the State Comptroller and the local government review board, complain about this mechanism at city council meetings, and demand a mechanism to prevent such governmental tyranny.
