(haipo) – The Fire and Rescue Special Rescue Unit was called out this morning following a work accident at a construction site in Rachasim. A 44-year-old man was evacuated in moderate condition for further treatment at Rambam.

From Fire and Rescue it was delivered to Lai Pa:
This morning, firefighters from the Special Rescue Unit (SRU) were dispatched from the Kiryat station after receiving a report of a work accident at a construction site in the ridges.
When the teams arrived at the scene, they identified a worker who had lost the ability to move and was injured in his back and legs, lying on the roof of the building, unable to descend independently.
The Special Rescue Unit fighters joined forces with MDA teams, and due to problematic access that did not allow for evacuation on foot, they secured the worker and lowered him safely from the roof to the ground with the assistance of a crane operating on site.
One worker was taken from the scene for further treatment, fully conscious, and suffering from fractures in his leg. He needs further treatment from medical personnel.
MDA informed Lahi Pa:

MDA medics and paramedics are providing medical treatment and referring a 44-year-old man in moderate condition, with injuries to his limbs, to Rambam Hospital.
