(haipo) The Airports Authority has announced a new parking service for Haifa Airport passengers. Starting Sunday, November 8, 2026, passengers will be able to park in the Julius Simon private parking lot and reach the terminal via Egged bus line 100, whose route will be extended to the parking lot. The service is designed to meet parking needs until the permanent parking lot is built.
Broad cooperation to facilitate access to the airport
The new initiative is the result of cooperation between several parties: the Ministry of Transportation and the National Public Transportation Authority, the Haifa Municipality, Egged, the Israel Ports Company, and the Airports Authority. The goal of the initiative is to facilitate passengers' arrival at Haifa Airport and provide an accessible and convenient parking solution until the permanent parking lot is built on the airport grounds. Line 100 will connect the Gulf Center, Haifa Airport, and the Julius Simon private parking lot, and will pass through the airport in both directions.
Service frequency and additional details for passengers
The service will operate Sunday through Thursday and Friday, with a fixed frequency of every 30 minutes during most operating hours. In addition, additional trips will be operated in the early morning and evening hours, according to the schedule. Passengers are asked to plan their arrival in advance and check the travel times in both directions, according to the flight time. Full details about the route, stations and schedule can be found on the Egged website and the Egged call center at 2800*. The Airports Authority continues to work to improve service and accessibility to Haifa Airport, as part of improving the travel experience for residents of Haifa and the north.
