(haipo) Israel Railways announced special preparations for the football match between Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Beer Sheva, which will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa. In accordance with the expected demand, and in the interest of maintaining the safety of event participants and road users, the railway will operate additional trains in addition to regular operations.
Additional trains from Haifa Hof Carmel station after the game
Israel Railways will operate two additional trains that will depart from Haifa Hof Carmel Station after the end of the game:
- Train number 8091 It will operate using the "fill and go" method and will depart at an estimated time of 21:25 PM in the direction of Tel Aviv, with stops at the intermediate stations: Binyamina, Hadera West, Netanya, Beit Yehoshua, Herzliya and all Tel Aviv stations.
- Train number 8055 It will also be operated using the "fill and go" method and will depart at the estimated time of 21:45 PM towards Be'er Sheva Central, with stops at all stations in Tel Aviv, Lod, Kiryat Gat, Lehavim Rahat, Be'er Sheva North and Be'er Sheva Central.
The "fill and go" method means that the train will leave the station when the carriages are full, so passengers are encouraged to arrive at the station in advance to secure their place on the train.
This preparation is intended to provide an appropriate response to the expected demand among fans of both teams who come to the Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa.
