An undercover investigation led to the exposure of the trafficking affair
For several weeks, investigators from the Carmel Police Department's unit conducted an undercover investigation into suspected drug trafficking activity in the Haifa and Krayot areas. Yesterday, the investigation moved to its overt phase, with a search and arrest of a suspect. During the search, substances suspected of being various types of drugs were seized: cocaine, cannabis, hallucinogenic mushrooms, MDMA, Dosa and Doctor, dozens of ecstasy pills and LSD stamps. Along with the drugs, approximately 13,000 shekels in cash were seized, as well as equipment suspected of being used to distribute drugs.
The suspect was arrested and her detention was extended.
The suspect in the case is a 27-year-old Haifa resident, who was detained for questioning. Today, the court granted the police request and ordered an extension of her detention until Friday, October 23, 2026. The extensive seizure of a variety of drugs, along with a significant amount of cash and equipment designated for distribution, allegedly indicates that drug trafficking activity on a significant scale was taking place in the area. The police are continuing to investigate the case.
