(Haipo) – Noise nuisances on Yaffe Nof Street in Haifa: Inspectors from the Haifa Municipality's "Oz" municipal policing unit, together with police officers from the Haifa station, acted last night (Tuesday) against a convoy of vehicles that caused noise nuisances and disturbances on Yaffe Nof Street in the city.
As part of the enforcement activity, three police reports were filed for 1,000 shekels each.

Report of noise nuisance from a graduation party
The incident began after the 106 municipal hotline received a report in the evening about a convoy of cars traveling on Yaffe Nof Street with prolonged use of horns, causing significant noise nuisance to residents of the area. Upon receiving the report, a mobile unit of the "Oz" municipal police unit was dispatched to the scene, which located the convoy and reported that it was a graduation party for students from a community outside Haifa. The inspectors began to deal with the incident in order to restore order to the street and prevent further nuisance to residents.
Riots on the road and the lighting of flares
During the handling of the incident, the forces noticed that some of the participants were rioting on the road and lighting flares, in a manner that could endanger road users. As a result, another vehicle from the "Oz" unit and vehicles from the Haifa station of the Israel Police were called to the scene. The combined forces operated on the scene to stop the disturbances and enforce the law. At the end of the enforcement activity, three police reports were filed for noise and dangerous driving, in the amount of 1,000 shekels each.
Did the article interest you?

You at the municipality don't give traffic reports to vehicles leaving the gas station at 38 Nasi Street to HaHorsha Street in the direction of Yaffe Nof Street, and I see you don't give reports from my window.
You don't have to have a high IQ to know that they are Arabs.
Because the quick action of Oz and the police, and the issuance of traffic reports, indicate that they would not have been so quick if it had been Jews.
It seems like you are like that, because you hear that they speak Arabic.
Insanely upside down.. If there were Jews then they would have managed to give more reports because the entire convoy would have stopped and then they would have blocked it... Here.... they certainly continued driving and only 3 vehicles were stopped by 3 police cars
I swear they are Arabs.
Aaron to Daezsky Great response hahaha I just love it!! What extreme caution in saying and avoiding saying that they are Arabs!! Know how to see the energy drinks and understand that they are indeed cousins
Not energy drinks.. flares
What is striking is the extreme caution not to mention that they are Arabs.
Wow, three reports were filed. What an incredible amount of reports for so few cars. You made me laugh. The whole operation only yielded three reports (which will most likely never be paid at all). For that, you sent so many inspectors and police officers? I wonder what the cost of this operation is.
Kudos to the municipal police, this is how dog owners should be treated who litter all over Haifa, Carmel, and everywhere else.
Well done, Haifa Municipality, finally.
Yaffe Nof Street became a very neglected street after it was a prestigious place.
Full of garbage, dog poop, dog pee, the stench of X-Al bottles, and the noise of smoky motorcycles and car horns.
How many times have you called the police but nothing has been done? Glad that the Aharoni police are working efficiently.
It's a shame the fine was only 1000 NIS. I wish the cars involved could be confiscated and disabled for a week.
Too little and as usual too late😁
It's time to do some urgent cleaning on the street that is the main exit from the city, Shalom Aleichem Street in Neve Sha'anan. Every Friday is a nightmare and the kerbs have already gotten used to parking next to the shops in two rows. I live in Hankin and 4 times I got a ticket for 500 NIS for parking on the sidewalk under the house due to lack of parking in the area. When I come back exhausted from work and near the shops, with all the traffic disrupted, everyone is celebrating and there is no inspector or policeman to clean up.
Guests are invited every evening to the villa. There are life-threatening situations like them here every day.
Come to Hadera… You can run wild – they won’t do anything to you. At any time. No matter what – nothing (I would offer you a photo with the mayor… but)
Hadera is a long drive, a boring city with no view.
Why not revoke a license? What good would a fine of 1000 NIS do?
You're right, but in Israel they don't deny a license for noise.
Why isn't there a button next to every comment to delete a message?
In general, a normal police force would investigate such a report and forward it to the prosecutor's office, and the person would receive a fine of much more than a thousand NIS. And rightly so.
It's time to deal with two-wheelers and vehicles equipped with improved engines that compete at great speeds every night while making unbearable noise, putting road users at risk. The incident that occurs every night on Highway 2, Ha-Hagana Blvd., from south to north and vice versa, with the starting point of the perpetrators being from Cafe Maxim to Haifa.
I am an Arab and I say well done. We must put an end to the troublemakers.
They also run rampant on roads that could be mountainous, such as the Sea Road.
We need to throw out the Muslim dogs who are on our streets and spreading disease and crime.
There are also the wicked Gentiles (those with the Israeli name) who continue to support them...shame.
I really hope it's not really students celebrating their graduation from school, which is legitimate once a year.
Because the main problem is the people in the sector who take over the streets.
And the municipality simply didn't catch the right and permanent troublemakers?
It's a shame that this is a one-time thing, it's repeated every day, we need a permanent police station there, it's a place prone to disaster, the Louis Promenade has become a meeting place for the sector, they're dirtying the promenade, driving around in riots with loud music, blocking the road, and it doesn't end.
Shhhhhh
That the special unit that was established will also reach the university area. On Nesher Road and the ascent from the Danya Junction towards the university, cars are traveling at breakneck speed with very noisy cars!
It's hard to fall asleep and stay asleep because it's mostly at night and sometimes they sound like alarms.
It's time for you to put things in order there,
Terrorists are coming and ruining our lives in this city.
Just as you closed the beaches to them,
Close Yaffe Nof Street to them as well.
Let them roam in their villages,
Whatever they make the noise.
There really are no wretched people among you.
On the Horeb highway, vehicles with improved engines are driving in the middle of the night from Dalit to Carmel, brainless idiots whose life's peak is driving at night and putting gas in their miserable-ass vehicles.
For some reason you're not going to catch them, but high school kids? Sure, what crime eradication, what can I tell you.
Very strange. I remember that all schools that stage their high school studies like this come out in a huff. Why did they bother this time? Maybe because of the war, every siren jumps them.
And what about the motorcycles all over Haifa with their deafening noise. A road leads from the Grand to the police building. You have to be there to understand
You have to understand to be there.
What was the name of the concept that is paid for? A maintenance levy???? Remains a recommendation. Catastrophic places are not visited or are only visited once in a…
The bill arrives on time, the payment is on the way!!!
Wow, wow, this is what happened to you. 3 reports, 1000 shekels.
Heroes about school graduates who have completed their studies. Where is the glorified unit when every weekend dozens of bikers in racing gear fly along the scenic roads all the way to the university. With boosted engines.
"They worked last night" is a cliché. On Saturday, we walked there, beyond the feeling of alienation in this beautiful place and the feeling that we were in Cairo or Marseille and not in a central city in Israel, also traveling wildly with loud music and hundreds of young people who perhaps came from the villages for some wedding or private event.
The solution, in my opinion, is that this is a tourist area that should be closed to vehicle traffic, only to buses and organized transportation, and the place should be demarcated with inspection and security.
The same goes for other places prone to wild driving and public disturbance, such as the internal road under the Leonardo Hotel near the beaches.
