(Haipo) – A 40-year-old man was seriously injured while riding an electric scooter in Kiryat Bialik. The rider, who slipped during the ride and suffered a head injury, was treated at the scene by MDA and rescue team members and was taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa in serious condition.
Report of a scooter rider injured in Kiryat Bialik
At 16:43 PM, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about an electric scooter rider who was injured while riding. According to reports, the incident occurred on Al-Armonim Street in Kiryat Bialik, in the Peres Promenade area. MDA medics and paramedics, along with drivers from the Carmel Area Rescue Organization, were called to the scene and provided the injured person with initial medical treatment. The man, approximately 40 years old, was found unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury after slipping while riding the scooter.
Life-saving treatment and evacuation to the trauma room at Rambam
Rescue medic David Zer, who arrived at the scene with an MDA ambulance, said: "I found a scooter rider, a man about 40 years old, suffering from a severe head injury after slipping while riding. Together with MDA medics and paramedics, we provided him with initial medical treatment, including immobilization and dressings, and he was evacuated in serious condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Rambam Hospital in Haifa." Rescue teams provided the injured man with life-saving medical treatment at the scene of the incident before he was urgently evacuated to the hospital, where his condition is described as serious.
