(Live here) – The pink flamingos have landed in the ponds at the Habonim Reserve. If you come, you have a good chance of seeing them.

The origin of the flamingo's pink color
- Flamingos feed mainly on algae, tiny crustaceans (like shrimp) and small aquatic creatures. This food is rich in carotenoids – natural red-orange pigments (the same pigments that give carrots their orange color). The flamingo's digestive system breaks down the carotenoids, and they accumulate in their feathers, skin and beak, which is how the pink color is obtained.

We wanted to enter the beaver reserve.
They charge 25 shekels.
For a human being and also for a disabled person.
It used to be possible to leave your car near the entrance and enter on foot without paying.
Today this is also prohibited.
It's not clear why peace on the beach requires so much money.
Thanks
