The existing outline plan of the city of Nesher dates from 1973. As part of the plan, the Planning Administration at the Ministry of the Interior and the Nesher Municipality decided to hold a residents' conference on February 3.2rd, the purpose of which is to expose the public to the preparation of a new outline plan for the Nesher. When the goal is to learn from the residents about the future needs and implement the comments within the overall planning.

There is already construction in the city of about 1,000 housing units, some of which will be occupied at the end of 2015. All of this requires us to be prepared and ready with appropriate transportation infrastructure and educational institutions."The director general of the municipality, Abigail Dolev, calls on the residents of the city to come to the conference and be full partners in the overall planning of the city. According to her: "The residents of the city are our eyes and ears. They will be full partners in the preparation of the new outline plan. The residents' comments and clarifications will be taken into account within the overall planning in order to ensure a balanced and correct plan that will serve the city."
