(haipo) Four Haifa artists will present together in the exhibition "Landscapes and figures tell a story", which will open on Tuesday, 13.10.26 At the Beit Yad Labanim Gallery in Haifa. The exhibition presents works in a figurative-realistic style, which reflect the artists' inner world, their perspective on reality and the connection between man, nature and memory. Alongside the works, a corner will be dedicated to commemorating the fallen, in the spirit of the transition from destruction to rebirth.
Four artistic voices, a shared story
The exhibition will feature Rachel Froman Komlos, Rachel Aminov Gelber, Ronit Reinstein and Yossi Cohen. The exhibition is curated by Rachel Gelber, and she seeks to bring together personal perspectives and stories that emerge from landscapes, characters and observations of the world around us.
The paintings presented in the exhibition were made in a figurative-realistic style. For the four artists, painting is a significant tool of expression, allowing them to translate the sights outside them into a personal and emotional voice. Through the observation of the landscape and the figures, an encounter is created between the external reality and the inner experience of the creators.
Alongside the focus on landscapes and figures, the exhibition will also dedicate a section to the memory of the fallen, dealing with memory and the transition from destruction to rebirth. Thus, the artistic encounter also adds a dimension of commemoration and coping with Israeli reality.
Nature, creativity and personal memory
Yossi Cohen Paints in a realistic style and focuses on subjects from the natural world, especially the marine world. Alongside his artistic activity, he is involved in environmental issues. Through documenting flora and fauna, he seeks to draw attention to the beauty of nature and the importance of preserving it.
Rachel Froman Komalosh She is a multidisciplinary artist who works in painting, carving, and writing. Her works have been shown in exhibitions in Israel and abroad, and she also operates a YouTube channel dedicated to the Hebrew singer.
Rachel Gelber, a painter and architect, has been teaching painting and guiding artists for many years. In her eyes, painting is a space for personal expression and processing the inner voice. Since October 7, she has been active in commemorating the fallen, and in addition to her artistic activity, she is a curator and active in the "Tomer Ben Horin" association.
Ronit Reinstein She has been drawing since childhood and considers painting an integral part of her life. For her, art is a way to convey thoughts, messages and meanings, as well as a space for silence, contemplation and beauty within the routine of life.
