The police told Lai Pa:
Haifa police arrested a suspect who severely attacked a supervisor at the Talpiot Market in Haifa. The suspect was located and arrested shortly after the crime was committed.
Haifa police officers have opened an investigation following a report of an assault on a 20-year-old inspector while he was registering a report at the city's Talpiot Market. It is suspected that while registering a parking report, the suspect attacked the inspector, causing him to suffer fractures, and then fled the scene.
Upon receiving the report, the police began rapid investigative actions, during which they traced the suspect's identity. Shortly thereafter, the police located the suspect, arrived at him, and arrested him for questioning at the police station.
The suspect, a 36-year-old resident of Basmat Tivon, was detained for questioning, and was subsequently imprisoned. Depending on the needs and findings of the investigation, the police will request an extension of his detention in court.
Haifa Station Commander, Lt. Col. Eyal Shahar, said: "The Haifa station adopts a zero-tolerance policy towards any manifestation of violence, and in particular violence towards public figures and law enforcement officers. We will act decisively and with all the means at the police's disposal against anyone who chooses to act violently and harm public figures and law enforcement officers who are performing their duties legally."
The Haifa Municipality informed Haifa:
Mayor of Haifa, Yona Yahav"The severe violence against a Haifa Municipality inspector is a crossing of a red line and a serious and unacceptable incident. The municipality's inspectors are dedicated public servants who perform their work for the sake of public order, the city's residents and visitors, and harming them is harming the entire city. The Haifa Municipality will not tolerate incidents of this type of violence, and will provide full support to the enforcement workers and all of its employees. I wish the inspector a speedy recovery, thank the Haifa Police for the quick arrest of the suspect, and call for the attacker to be brought to justice in full severity."
Haifa Municipality Director General, David Luria"Municipality employees, including inspectors, are at the forefront of public action every day, and work with dedication and professionalism for the benefit of residents. Attacking a municipal inspector while performing his duty is a serious, wrongful and unforgivable act. Haifa Municipality will continue to operate in full cooperation with the Israel Police and will stand by its employees, while taking all necessary steps to ensure their safety. I would like to thank the Haifa Police for the swift action that led to the capture of the suspect in the act."
The injured inspector said: "During an enforcement shift at Talpiot Market, while dealing with Yalga Street and moving back toward the market, I noticed a vehicle standing in the middle of the road blocking traffic. I asked the driver to move the vehicle or enter the parking lot, but he refused. After another request, the driver only moved a few meters and stopped again in the middle of the road. I informed him that if he did not move, a report would be filed against him."
At this point the driver started cursing. I took a photo of the vehicle for enforcement purposes, and when I started to write the report, the driver got out and punched me in the face. He tried to attack me again, but his friend and a market vendor separated us.
The driver then got back in the car and tried to flee the scene. I was standing in front of the car and he tried to drive towards me, I had to move to the side. I managed to open one of the car doors and demand that he stop, but he fled. I called the police and the inspectors to the scene. A short time later, inspectors and a police car arrived.
At this point, I felt severe pain in my nose and face. The inspectors called an ambulance for me and I was taken to Bnei Zion Hospital, where a broken nose was diagnosed. Later, a policewoman took my statement. This incident will not deter me from continuing to work for the public and for its safety."
The head of the Supervision and Enforcement Department at the Haifa Municipality, Ilan Hodada, said: "This is a serious and unacceptable incident of violence against an inspector who performed his work legally and responsibly. Municipal inspectors work every day in the public space to maintain order, safety and the quality of life of residents, and they are entitled to return home safely. I fully support the inspector who was attacked, and the municipal inspectors in general, who perform their work faithfully for the public in Haifa."

I see this picture as an apparent provocation in Kiryat Shprinzak. The place is spotlessly clean. However, we must significantly fine the citizens who throw garbage in public spaces.
Then he says that when he started writing the report, the driver got out of the car and "came down" towards him.

The municipality employs thousands of inspectors who raid the streets like swarms of locusts to hand citizens reports left and right in order to extort money for the municipality.
Boz Lehav. It's a shame he's back.
I oppose violence but understand the attacker. I have seen with my own eyes more than once Haifa Municipality vehicles parked in prohibited places and
And travelers do their shopping.
The municipality found an easy place to file reports, something that didn't exist before, so it's no wonder the inspector was attacked.
The municipality should reconsider its policy.
Haifa Station is adopting a zero-tolerance policy, and hopes that the Metropolitan Police will continue along this line.
We would be happy to continue reading what the court ruled.
