For the first time in about six decades, a new hotel is being built in Caesarea. The local planning and building committee in the Carmel Beach area has granted a building permit to the Amram Avraham Group, in collaboration with the Shai Hai Group, to build a 108-room luxury hotel in the Neot Golf neighborhood. The hotel will be operated by the Gordonia chain, and construction is expected to begin in the coming days.
Luxury hotel with suites, spa and private pools
The new hotel will include 108 rooms and suites, some with private pools, alongside a central swimming pool, a spa complex, a chef's restaurant and hospitality and leisure spaces. The building was designed in a staggered manner, integrating into the existing fabric of the Neot Golf complex and the green surroundings, and will include protective roofs, outdoor areas and pools. The project was designed by the Feigin Architects office. The hotel will be operated by the Gordonia chain, which specializes in luxury and boutique hotels and operates, among other things, the Gordonia Hotel in Ma'ale HaHachamisha, two hotels in Zichron Yaacov, the Alma Hotel and the Gordonia Hotel. The partnership between Amram Avraham and Gordonia is intended to create a hotel in Caesarea that combines high-level hospitality with culinary, culture and leisure.
Part of a broader tourism development boom on the Carmel Coast
The Caesarea project is a continuation of Amram Avraham's expansion in the hotel sector. The company is currently promoting seven hotel projects in high-demand areas across the country, with a total of approximately 970 rooms, which are in various stages of planning and execution. Among the company's other projects: a hotel on the Golan Coast in the Sea of Galilee, a hotel in Zichron Yaakov, a hotel in Eilat near the old airport adjacent to the promenade and entertainment areas, and two hotels in Tanya - at the Esther Cinema and on Gad Mechens Street. The new hotel in Caesarea joins a broad development momentum in the tourism industry on the Carmel Coast, with six additional hotels currently in the construction stages throughout the regional council.

"Tourism is a key growth engine"
Head of the Hof Carmel Regional Council, Assif Isaac, He said, "Tourism is a major growth engine for the Carmel Beach, and we have been working in recent years to promote infrastructure, hotels and attractions that will strengthen the area as a leading tourist destination." Isaac added, "Caesarea is one of the most prominent tourist centers in Israel, and the connection between the new hotel and the range of tourist, cultural and leisure sites in the area can contribute significantly to its continued development. The hotel joins six additional hotels that are under construction throughout the Carmel Beach, and we see this as an expression of the area's tourism potential and the momentum of development that we are promoting."
"We are preparing to start work in the coming days"
Noam Greif, CEO of Amram Avraham, noted that "receiving the building permit for the hotel in Caesarea is in accordance with the strategic plan that the company is leading to expand the growth engines and deepen the activity in the hotel sector, alongside the core activity in the residential sector and income-generating real estate." Greif added that "we see hotels as a field with significant potential over time, especially in areas with distinct tourist advantages such as the Carmel Beach and Caesarea. As an entrepreneurial company, with an implementation arm, we are preparing to begin work in the coming days, with the help of the joint implementation company Yesodost. The combination of the location, the hotel environment, the architectural design and the connection to Gordonia allows us to establish a quality hotel product that will add a significant layer to the high demand in the area for tourism, culinary and leisure."

Congratulations to the Hof Carmel Regional Council. The lack of activity in the tourism and hotel sector in Haifa is even more noticeable against the backdrop of activity in Hof Carmel.
It just clearly shows that it's not "the situation" but "the municipality." When there aren't the right people to think about tourism development and hotel development, then you can only blame external factors. In the Carmel Beach, they're taking initiatives and moving and building. In Haifa, in the German colony, there's a hotel built by the Netsava company at the intersection of Jaffa and Ben Gurion streets that has been completely empty for years and hasn't been opened. What is the municipality doing about it? Just one example of the problems with tourism in Haifa.
GOOD LUCK😭
