(haipo) – The Haifa Municipality will hold an emergency preparedness exercise on Thursday morning (6.11.25), simulating a short-notice missile attack. The exercise, which was planned in advance, is part of the lessons learned from the recent war with Iran, and aims to further improve the city's preparedness for emergency situations.
The Haifa Municipality informed Haifa:
The Haifa Municipality will hold a preparedness exercise on Thursday, November 6, 2025, simulating missile fire on the city. The exercise, which was planned in advance, will be led by the Home Front Command and in cooperation with the emergency and rescue forces.

Simulated scenario – real preparedness
As part of the exercise, a scenario will be run simulating several scenes of destruction throughout the city following a missile attack, and the evacuation of many residents who have lost their homes will be simulated.
The Security Division and the Education Administration in the municipality will practice evacuating school students via buses to a designated "family center" in the south of the city. The center will be staffed by welfare teams, psychologists, public relations representatives and other employees who will assist in the absorption of the evacuees.
All municipal departments participate
The exercise will also include the other departments of the municipality, as part of overall preparedness for emergency situations.
The municipality emphasizes that Haifa's level of preparedness is high and professional, but there is always room for improvement, especially in light of the security challenges of recent times.

No alarms, right? Or what?
How the media loves to chatter unbridled and be an informational helper for the enemy,
They give the enemy clues to a real case, what the protocol is, how they operate, what they do...
Information to the enemy is a field trial. Where is the censorship, where are the law enforcement agencies? Who is protecting us from providing information to the enemy?
Most of the elected management is now spending time in a hotel in Tel Aviv and you are doing an exercise, couldn't you wait for them?
Instead of worrying about security all the time, why don't you, while you're in town, get busy cleaning up the city? Improving infrastructure? Isn't that important enough for you?
The city looks (especially Hadar and the coastal area) like a third world country, but no, no, the main thing is they're afraid of Iranian missiles 🤣
I liked !
In exercises, we are unrivaled champions.
"Citizen security" in the "Jewish state" must be first: 24/7 in the order of priorities of all those responsible for "security" in the "Israeli government" & "municipal authorities"...!!!!!@@@@@😭
Build new shelters? – What the hell? Promote evacuation and construction plans? – What the hell? Forced vaccinations? – Of course, violating basic human rights – Of course. Have you not yet understood where you live?
Next time, too, will citizens sleep at Carmelit stations with sleeping bags from home with no other choice, or will 40 Haifa residents be forced to flee the city because they don't have reasonable protection on their street?!
And now it is clear from the defeat in Gaza that they are preparing to renew the war with Iran, Lebanon, and perhaps Turkey as well. But they are not building even one more public shelter.
On the other hand, an additional 11 million shekels for the salaries of administrative employees and municipal finances. 11 fucking million shekels not for shelters or emergency equipment. To finance another fancy new Chinese car.
The "Hiada"
The municipality is so prepared that tens of thousands in the city were left without shelters during the Iran-Iraq war. Shelters were locked by non-profit organizations that took over them, shelters without equipment for a prolonged stay in a state of dirt and grime and the smells of mold and sewage.
And dozens of municipal shelters that municipal representatives refused to staff and called in shifts from companies and corporations because municipal employees refused to staff them, and it turned out that some of the shelters had no toilets, no basic equipment like mattresses. There was no air conditioning in the summer heat – there was nothing.
