Rapid growth and high demand for flights from the north
During its first year of operation, Air Haifa operated flights to Eilat, Larnaca, Paphos, Athens and Rhodes. The company's operations contributed to breaking traffic records at Haifa Airport and made flying from the north a preferred alternative for residents of the region, who are looking for a close, convenient and simple solution for going abroad and for domestic flights.

Fifth aircraft and preparations for expansion in 2026
Last Friday (19.12.25) the company's fifth aircraft landed at Haifa Airport, arriving on a direct flight from Toulouse. The aircraft's reception is part of a strategic plan to increase the aircraft fleet and double the scope of operations by 2026. As early as the first quarter of next year, the company is expected to operate six aircraft and launch new routes, including a seasonal route to Sofia, Bulgaria, and additional destinations to be revealed later.

Haifa Airport Upgrade
In parallel with the expansion of Air Haifa's operations, Haifa Airport underwent significant upgrades: the boarding and disembarking area was completely renovated, a duty-free shop was opened, and the restaurant in the terminal was upgraded. In addition, the airport's operating hours were extended and it is currently open until 22:00 PM, except on Fridays.
In preparation for the expected increase in activity, the Airports Authority is planning additional development, including the preparation of an organized parking lot with approximately 900 parking spaces and the addition of self-check-in stations, with the aim of maintaining short check-in times and quality service even with high traffic volumes.

Air Haifa CEO: “Flying from the North became a natural choice”

Gonen Ussishkin, CEO of Air Haifa"A year ago, Air Haifa began its operations from Haifa Airport with the desire to provide a solution for residents of the north, to fly close, simply and conveniently. The first year proves that choosing to fly from the north has become a natural choice for many, with high demand and consistent occupancy. We continue to grow from here, expand our fleet of aircraft and destinations, and strengthen Haifa as another significant airport gateway for Israel."

Festive sale to mark one year of activity
To celebrate its first year of operation, Air Haifa is offering a 20% discount on all flight bookings to Cyprus. The offer is valid until Thursday, 25.12.2025 at 23:59, using the coupon code CYPRUS20.

Flex tickets and flexible service for passengers
All Air Haifa flight tickets are of the following type: Flex, and include the option to change or cancel for future credit up to 24 hours before departure, a free carry-on bag, and the option to add a trolley, suitcase, or a seat in advance – according to the passengers' needs.

Good luck to Air Haifa, may it grow and strengthen to 100 aircraft - which will extend the runway - and bring blessings and livelihood to all residents of the area.
That we can fly to all European countries from Haifa, without having to go to Ben Gurion Airport
It's sad to think what demand there could be if there were 30 flights a day from Haifa to more distant destinations in Central Europe, Georgia, India. It's a real shame that this isn't a medium-sized international airport where we could easily get there.
For 2-3 million passengers a year and with tourists 4-5 million passengers
Why aren't they really expanding flights to Eilat? We've all been waiting for this to happen.
And no one is talking about extending the track by a measly 200 meters.
Haifaites, wake up from your provincialism, otherwise this won't happen.
Weekends. Why not expand domestic flights, say to Eilat, on weekends?
I am trying to reach the company to purchase two plane tickets from Eilat to Haifa and there are no answers as to why...
